Skinfood time!

Updated: Mar 25

Hi, everybody! how you doing?

I don't know you but my skin is not so resistant to the cold temperature, they seems dropped quite a lot. For whom have the feeling that it looks like thirsty and needed of more nourishment...there is need of powerful skinfood.

A month or so ago I started looking for new face masks, my attention was captured by these special packages with cute fruits and vegetables shape, after having seen "sleeping mask" wrote, I thought "wonderful, I can watch a movie in bed without having to get up to take it off" (first point in favor).

This Tony Moly mask is part of the Korean republican line; I bought several mask, but for the moment I will tell you about this nutrient mask with the banana shape package, which I am almost finishing.

The active ingredients of are: vitamins B1, B2, B6, C, PP; minerals such as phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, potassium, iron and zinc combined with honey, which has also been used in Egypt and Ancient Greece for more than 8,000 years, and which have been considered so special as to be used in beauty treatments in the aristocracy. In fact, it was also used by Cleopatra, the famous Egyptian queen, for her facial treatments.

Honey itself has an atypical moisturizing power that helps to give and retain water on the face because its peptides, rich in antioxidants and enzymes, have a very high regenerating and toning power.

Finally, one of its ingredients is also chamomile, which provides a soothing and decongestant effect to the skin.

To avoid that the skin will get used to it without giving more results, I advice combining this mask with one of lush, among other things, only the smell makes you want to eat it and fills the whole place with sweet and aromatic aroma that gives the impression of being in a pastry shop.

Most of you certainly already know the British brand, also known for its natural, colorful and effervescent soaps, lush has a wide range of natural products, vegetal and cruelty free source.

Oatifix, a fresh mask that should normally be kept in the fridge for its absence of preservatives, is composed of chopped almonds, oatmeal that are mixed with a wonderful illipe butter;

Normally this mask can be used as an exfoliant but in the case of my skin I prefer to use a peeling to remove dry skin, so I let this mask act for 10-15 minutes so that the active ingredients contained as vitamin E, A, B (B1, B2, B3, B5 and B6), mineral salts such as calcium and magnesium, followed by potassium, copper and phospholipids, could penetrate and play their full role as antioxidant nutrition;

without forgetting that Illipe butter improves the extensibility of the product, maintaining the flexibility and elasticity of the skin. This butter is like cocoa butter but melts at a higher temperature (approx 36°C). It is very resistant to heat and humidity;

I recommend using this mask far from the meals so the essential oils of sandalwood and vanilla do not make you crave any dessert;)

Honestly, these incredible cocktails of natural ingredients with the alternating of the two masks can really help restore hydration, glow and skin elasticity.

Have you ever tried one of these masks? which is your favorite? leave me a comment to know your opinion! I'm curious about!
